Bray Wanderers vs Drogheda United

MATCH PREVIEW - Bray Wanderers V Drogheda United :

Drogheda United go into Friday night's encounter as deserved favourites after their 6-0 thumping against Longford Town in the EA Sports Cup. Bray on the other hand go into the game on the back of a 4-2 defeat to Bohemian's also in the Ea Sports Cup.

The sides will be in full confidence with Bray welcoming back Adam Micthell and Kevin O'Connor after lengthy injury spells and although Drogheda have some injury worries in captain Derek Prendergast, Gary O'Neil and Brian Gannon who are all rated 'very doubtful', Mick Cooke has plenty of player's knocking on the door with their great win over Longford.

Earlier in the season when the sides met Drogheda came out on top with a 2-1 victory in Hunky Dory Park. Pat Devlin referred to the boynesider's as his 'bogey team' but insists his side will go into the game with full confidence. After Drogheda's some what undeserved defeat at home to Derry last Friday in the League, Mick Cooke know's his side will be more than ready to put things right this Friday.

The Carlisle Ground's is the stage for tomorrow night's game and it is sure to be a cracker.

John Lynch.
