The draw for the EA Sports Cup quarter-final draw will take place on Monday 10th June live on MNS, this is the first time since 2005 (when Derry City prevailed as winners) that the quarter-finals has consisted of all Premier Division teams.
In fact last season broke the four year trend of a first division team appearing in the final, ever since Wexford Youths played Derry City in 2008; they were followed by Waterford United, Monaghan United and Cork City.
The eight teams left in the draw are: Bohemians, Cork City, Derry City, Drogheda United (holders), Limerick, Shamrock Rovers, Sligo Rovers & St. Patrick's Athletic.
The quarter-finals are scheduled for Monday 1st July, with the Semi-Finals taking place on Monday 5th August with the final planned for Saturday 21st September.
Last Year's final took place at Tallaght Stadium when Drogheda United ran out 3-1 winners over Shamrock Rovers in what was Brian Laws first of seven games in charge of the South Dublin Club.
